We’ve made it to the middle of January already! How has that happened? Wasn’t it just Christmas?

First things first, the number of homes that sold in December of 2019 compared to December of 2018 has gone up by quite a bit. Further proving our point that the real estate market is still very clearly favoring sellers – even in what is typically deemed the slowest time of the year for real estate. The number of homes pending has even increased from last year. However, where we did see the numbers slip was in regards to inventory. Since this same time last year, the number of homes for sale at the end of December has gone down – and that’s okay. But wait! There’s still some good news – the average price for the homes sold has definitely gone up.

All signs are still pointing to this being a great time to sell your home and upgrade. You know you thought about all through the holidays.
